Position Title:
Logic Design Engineers

Location:
Langhorne, PA

Description:
To take advanced and volatile data comm. design specifications, concept and requirements into a Gate Array, LPGA or FPGA implementation. The final product is a prototype of PHY layer communication device. All designs involve one or more of the following aspects: digital filters, equalizers, PLL, modems, VSB, QAM, and user interfaces. Design entry is via HDL. Design verification is via extensive simulation in HDL or "C". Design realization is via synthesis tools.

Qualifications:
A self motivated individual with a BSEE and a minimum 2-4 years of experience in digital hardware design. Familiarity with timing, area, routing and pipe lining trade offs are essential to this job. Knowledge of UNIX, chip vendor's tool sets, "C" and simulation methodology is a plus. Knowledge of NTSC/PHL signaling is also a plus.

Position Title:
DSP Software Engineers

Location:
Langhorne, PA

Description:
The modeling of digital filters, equalizers and timing recovery components, PHY algorithms and architectures for highly sophisticated broadband, modems and cable applications.

Qualifications:
BSEE/MSEE and at least three years of experience in DSP algorithm development and modeling. Data Comm experience (Video, Digital TV) is a plus. Proficient in C, UNIX, and NT. Must be able to simulate and prove concepts using Matlab tools on real hardware.

Position Title:
CHIP Design Engineers

Location:
Langhorne, PA

Description:
This person is well versed in most phases of silicon chip development, from conception to prototype verification. Development phases include specification development from requirements document, performing architectural tradeoffs including testability, design implementation, test plan development, functional verification, synthesis, layout verification, and prototype test. . Also, this person must be highly focused on achievement of both team and company objectives along with personal goals.

Qualifications:
Minimum BSEE along with a minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent. Extensive knowledge in digital logic design, Verilog, VHDL, C programming and logic synthesis is essential with prior industry experience in the digital communications area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of accomplishment. Proficiency with NT, UNIX, Solaris, Verilog XL, Synopsys and Primetime are also required.
